I went to see dentist today for my wisdom tooth. It has given me alot of 'painful memories' since it grew up 'there'. Now, it has infected and need to be extracted before it become worst. I went to see my regular dentist and she quote me RM600.00 (for normal extraction). Am pretty sure I need surgery to take it out, so the price should be much more higher.
So, decided to go to government dentist. Half an hour waiting for my turn, 5 minutes checking my teeth and as expected, need surgery to extract the wisdom tooth. Another half an hour wait for my refferal letter to HKL and pay RM1.00 for the checking earlier. I went back to office that afternoon and call HKL to check if I can make appointment thru phone. Not working that way, she told me I have to come with the letter, then they will examine me again, x-tray and on and on...then only they will set another date to extract the tooth. Grrr....
The whole process just really painful (plus my fobia to see the dentist). Never had any pleasant memories everytime sat on that dental chair. The image of the chair and the huge syringe in my head only, make me sick. Let alone sugery...Ooo God!
