Thought of writing in Iban, but I don't think anybody would understand, so better to stick to the normal one ;-D.
Anyway, today is 1st June. Years ago (lets say, 4 years and earlier), I never missed Gawai. Our family never fail to celebrate Gawai and was the "hot spot' for the whole village, not because of karaoke or joget gawai, but because we all out in terms of foods ;-). But, when I got married, things changed. Seldom go back, no Gawai and more Chirstmas. But, my family still continue the tradition, just not that all out like before.
This year things slightly change. Seperated with my husband and I have more time for myself. And seperated from Darlene, means too much space for myself till felt empty :-p.
So, yesterday not only Gawai Eve for me, but "homecoming celebration" because it reminds me of who I am and why am here. Even with the whole family at Sarawak and am alone here. But with friends arounds me, there's nothing else I want at the moment. Thanks girls for every support, every advise, bad and good memories together, even all the silly jokes, stupid but fun ideas we've been shared together. Without you all, I think I will lost somewhere.....
