Huiyo...the most tiring day of my life!

Thursday, went back early from office. There a lot of things to do. On the way back stop at gas station. My minds keep on thinking and planning what to do next day. Suddenly I realized there motorcyclists try to stop me. He pointed his finger to my tank, and then realizes forgotten to close it up. The worse thing is I forgot the cover at all! Panic, rush back to gas station only to found it nowhere around there. Lucky only half tank fuel and drove carefully back home with another load of thinking. There nothing much I can do since workshop close at that hour.

At home start packing till 3.00am. Next Day woke up early, continues packing and moves some of the thing to my car. 8.30am checking if there any workshop opens. Disappointed and worried, but no choice, workshop all are closed due to Public Holiday, Still have to move on with the plan for the day. Again, because thinking too much I got lost until Golden Horses Palace Hotel, then turn around ‘the globe’ for so many times. Couldn’t get the right way. Then, have to call the agent and fetch us at Bukit Jalil. Lucky she available at that moment.

Get the key from owner, lunch and rest for awhile, and then went back to the old house. Continue packing and moves things. After waited for almost one hour the lorry came with three ‘kurus kering cekeding macam cicak kubing’ kind of workers. But, believe me they all strong. Only 3 of them, another one worker busy with arranging the furniture /boxes. Pity them all, have to carry all the heavy stuff from 4th floor all the way down. ;-p

We tried our best to stack all the boxes, even undo the furniture, so easy to arrange and save space, but still there a lot of boxes and furniture left. We have to make second trip. Two trip for my house things. Can’t believe I have too many things at home. Two truck trips and two car trips!

First trip, the truck couldn’t keep up with us and left far behind. We reached home at 5.30pm, they reached two hours later after turn around ’the globe’ for so many times. Unloading the stuffs and hurried back to Wangsa Maju. Return back 4 hours later. Their boss called and tell me that he has to increase the charge since over working hours (midnight). Well, I don’t know where I got the strength, but I fight back.

Told him that I tried to be fair to him as a boss, to his workers as a human being, and asked him to be fair to me as his client and human being too! First, they came out with small truck, but maybe my mistake, not clear in my request earlier. So I agreed with two trip and double pay but he agreed to decrease the charge. He tried to blame me and get me to pay for the time they have lost when tried to look for my house, but I told him that out of my control. I even never complaint of checked on them when they return back with the second trip 4 hours later! So, make it short, I won…I pay as per agreed earlier. No more charge, no more argument. But the workers are all friendly. They still smile and jokes even with sweats all over the body. I know it’s not easy to carry my furniture and boxes all the way from 4th floor and still smile and jokes around. ;-)

Then, at new home…2 and half person rearrange and unpacking till 3.00am. The other ‘half person’ actually been busy exploring the house and mixing around with new neighbors. Still couldn’t do it all. I realized my body trembling, my eyes sore, my body arching and my head spinning. Took panadol and resting for awhile. Before start again until early morning.

The next day, whole morning busy unpacking and rearrange. Having light lunch before went out to look for workshop again. Get the cover, felt so much better and safer J, then do some shopping before went back to old house to get remaining things. Then, fetch my sister from her college and straight back home. Not really straight, as we get lost again
:-p.

Oh, about the new house….it a double story house with the same renting price. With 3 bedroom and one bathroom. Spacey living room and porch. Unfortunately, having problem with water system, keep on leaking. Got to call owner later. I think the previous tenant doesn’t really care about the cleanliness. Got to do something with the smells and messy porch.

Got friendly Indian neighbors. Our right neighbors Indian from India who selling putu mayam, ice cream, breads and other foods. Their boss staying just in front of our house, pretty friendly. Left neighbors, hasn’t really saw them, but they are Malays guys and I think they are singles. So now, our neighbors become my daughter’s ice creams supplier. Have to stop her from going outside and being too friendly with the ice creams guy, but she just unstoppable.

And today called my brother in law to talk to my mother in law. Thought of telling them that we've moved out. My brother in law got shocked. With the new house, I change my number too. Hope to start all over again, all new and fresh! and with hutang........:-(

So, that the story for my new place. I will upload the photos later. Check it out!! :-)
